Gran Reserva Blend

VINEYARD

Located in Tupungato, in the Uco Valley of Mendoza.
Trellis conduction system and drip irrigation.
Yield: 65 qq/ha.
Harvest: hand- picked at the end of March and beginning of April. 

 

ELABORATION

Bunches are chosen at their optimum ripeness and placed in boxes for their transportation to the winery. Elimination of stalk. Whole berries are sent to small stainless steel tanks. Separate elaboration of the grape varieties that integrate this great wine. Alcoholic fermentation adding selected yeasts and temperature control between 27 - 29 ºC.
Maceration time with residue: 28 days.


Transfer elimination of thick flock, placed in French oak barrels for 10 months.
Wine blends are prepared before bottling: Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. 

 

ANALYTICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Alcohol: 14,20 %.
Sugar: 1,85 gr/lt.
Total acidity: 5,10 gr/lt.
pH: 3,72.

 

DESCRIPTION

Intense and shiny red with violet notes. Delicate aromas of red and black berries, raisins, spices and mineral touches. Freshness in mouth, elegant and strong, very well balanced oak. To enjoy.

Serving temperature: 16° – 18°  C
